SOMERVILLE, NJ - The Somerset County Department of Health Saturday reported 18,086 positive tests for the COVID-19 virus, an increase of 93 cases overnight, with 683 COVID-19 deaths reported since March 8.

Franklin has a total of 4,542 COVID-19 cases, and 202 deaths since the pandemic hit New Jersey in March.

There are 683 COVID-19 related deaths in Somerset County. One person aged 18-29, 15 people aged 30-49, 55 people aged 50-64, 161 people aged 65-79, and 262 people over the age of 80 have died, according to statistics proved by the SCDOH as of Feb. 27.

The SCDOH confirmed the deaths of 202 Franklin Township residents; 89 in Hillsborough/Millstone; 101 in Bridgewater; 47 in Bernards Township; 50 in North Plainfield; 35 in Green Brook; 15 in Watchung; 22 in Raritan; 22 in Bound Brook; 18 in Warren; 18 in Manville; 15 in Somerville; 19 in Montgomery; 9 in Branchburg; 5 in Bedminster; 5 in Bernardsville; 4 in South Bound Brook; 4 in Peapack-Gladstone and 1 in Rocky Hill and 1 in Far Hills.

Here is the breakdown of confirmed cases by town: Bedminster, 307, Bernardsville Borough, 453; Bernards Township, 1,148; Bound Brook, 978; Branchburg, 637; Bridgewater, 2,007; Far Hills, 36; Franklin, 4,542; Green Brook, 395; Hillsborough/Millstone, 1,768; Manville, 769; Montgomery, 766; North Plainfield, 1,435; Peapack-Gladstone, 177; Raritan, 474; Rocky Hill, 21; Somerville, 804; South Bound Brook, 346; Warren, 706; Watchung, 317.

The New Jersey Department of Health on Saturday reported a total of 699,564 positive cases of the coronavirus since the pandemic began its spread in the state 349 days ago an increase of 3,564 overnight. The death toll in New Jersey is 20,907, an increase of 46 overnight.

There have been 10,503,667 COVID-19 tests administered in New Jersey.

The number of COVID-19 cases worldwide is 114,255,777 including 2,534,292 deaths, according to the federal Centers for Disease Control & Prevention on Saturday morning, with 29,182,665 cases in the United States and 524,282 deaths
