NEWARK, NJ - The trial of Arnaldo Echevarria of Somerset, a former deportation officer charged with taking bribes and sex in exchange for employment documents, continues before Judge Esther Salas in U.S. District Court Friday.

While working for Immigration and Customs Enforcement, also known as ICE, Echevarria is charged with concealing the employment of an undocumented immigrant, who worked in a hair salon he owned, according to details released by the office of Paul J. Fishman, U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey.
