SOMERSET, NJ - Last night the National Weather Service issued a flash flood watch warning for the region. Multiple delays due to flooding have been reported in the area.
Canal Road is closed between the Griggstown Causeway and Route 518 due to flooding, according to the township.
Somerset County issued the following warning for commuters:
“Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.”

As of 7:55am, there's Flooding on US 22 eastbound ramp to I-287 in Bridgewater Twp. Partial ramp closed use caution.
As of 9:34am, there's Flooding on US 1 southbound Raymond Rd in South Brunswick Twp. Right and center lanes closed 5-10 minute delay.
As of 9:05am, there's Flooding on NJ 18 southbound ramp to NJ 172/George St in New Brunswick use caution.
As of 8:38am, there's Flooding on the Garden State Parkway southbound North of Colonia Service Area in Woodbridge Twp. Right lane closed to traffic.
