FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, NJ - The mayor and the township council will hold their work session/regular meeting this Tuesday, 7 p.m., at the municipal building. 

The Franklin high school girl’s basketball team will be honored for their history making Tournament of Champions win.

The Adult Day Center of Somerset County will also be acknowledged by the mayor and council for their 40th anniversary, and Central Jersey Housing Resource Center will also be honored for their 25th anniversary.

An annual report for the Franklin Township Police department will be discussed by the council.

Ordinance #4190-17 - Bond Ordinance Providing for the 2017 Road Resurfacing Program, in and by the Township of Franklin, in the County of Somerset, State of New Jersey (The “Township”); Appropriating $3,324,000 Therefor and Authorizing the Issuance of $1,970,300 Bonds or Notes of the Township to Finance Part of the Costs Thereof

Ordinances on Introduction and First Reading

4198-17 : An Ordinance Amending Leases with the Meadows Foundation, Incorporated by Amending Expiration Dates to December 31, 2050 for the Hageman Farm; Van Liew-Suydam House; Wyckoff-Garretson House and the Van Wickle House.
