SOMERSET, NJ - This Saturday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. First Baptist Church will invite the public to celebrate its 80th Anniversary during its Summer Family Festival at Naaman Williams Park. 

"With a full-day of activities for kids, laughs for adults, games, and prizes, the Summer Family Festival hopes to bring relief and relax to all who attend," Community Outreach Coordinator, Keenan Thomas said.

FBCLG will set up attractions designed to "create memories, encourage laughs, and foster community," Thomas said. 

Senior Pastor, DeForest Soaries Jr., is also celebrating his 27th year as pastor, for FBCLG.

"The time has been well spent," Thomas said. "Rev. Soaries and FBCLG have played their part in contributing to the health of both Somerset and New Brunswick."
