SOMERSET, NJ - The 4th Annual Franklin Day Festival is scheduled for September 23, and the township is looking for food, retail, and service vendors.

"Vendors can expect a very large attendance at the Festival due to the diversity of talent, performances, and activities planned," Franklin Day Festival Coordinator Robert Futcher said in a release.

Last year more than 10,000 residents from Franklin and surrounding towns attended the event.

Vendors need to register no later than September 8, and there is a 30 percent discount for those that register by June 2. (The Early Bird discount does not apply to the already discounted non-profit exhibitor price).

This year’s event will feature exciting activities geared toward the entire family including: live music, dance performances showcasing Franklin’s diverse community; 15-20 fantastic food vendors; an art show; a classic car show; and a farmer’s market.

The event will also include a vast array of totally FREE activities for children with a petting zoo, pony rides, bubble soccer, mini golf, games and municipal vehicles to explore.

Visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets for a picnic in the park while enjoying the Festival events.

Reserve the date for Franklin Day Festival on Saturday, September 23rd from 12-5 P.M. at Colonial Park (Lot C), Somerset NJ.
