FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, NJ - It is believed this year the 4th annual Franklin Day Festival doubled in size compared to last year, according to an announcement made by Councilwoman Rozalyn Sherman (D-Ward-2), founder, and coordinator of the event.
Numbers are still being worked out and will more than likely be announced at this Tuesday's council meeting.
“Last year was a great success with 10,000 people attending this fabulous outdoor event," Sherman said earlier this year.
The event featured exciting activities geared toward the entire family including live music, and dance performances showcasing Franklin’s diverse community.
More than 150 vendors attended, including 20 food trucks. The event included a vast array of activities for children such as a petting zoo, pony rides, bubble soccer, mini golf, games, municipal vehicles to explore and much more.
A classic car show and an ArtWalk was also featured.
