The Franklin Township Open Space Advisory Committee (OSAC) has determined that the large population of white-tailed deer in the Township is causing a negative impact on the ecosystem of forests and environmentally-sensitive lands.  In an ongoing effort to properly manage the population of white-tailed deer, the Township is opening several open space parcels for hunting during the 2018-2019 seasons, in accordance with the following:

September 8, 2018 – February 16, 2019

  • Hunting is prohibited on Sundays.
  • Non-hunters may enter the hunting zone on Sundays (MUST WEAR ORANGE)
