SOMERVILLE – Feeling out of sorts as you listen to the news? Find yourself wondering what will come? Looking for ways to regroup and revitalize?
Freeholder Deputy Director Brian Levine wants residents to know that the Somerset County Department of Human Services will be hosting three “Hopeful Heart” workshops where participants can learn stress-reduction and mindfulness techniques, and identify resources for ongoing support.
"We live stressful lives these days," Levine said. "In Somerset County, we are offering assistance to help alleviate this dilemma. Since I was Mayor in Franklin Township, I have realized that our residents deserve a helping hand and ongoing access to the support we have available. I sincerely hope people avail themselves of these workshops."
Program dates and times are Monday, April 16, from 1 to 2 p.m.; Thursday, April 26, from 5 to 6 p.m.; and Monday, April 30, from noon to 1 p.m.
The sessions each cover the same material, and all will be held at the county human services building, located at 27 Warren St.
