The municipal offices will be closed Monday, May 29, in observance of Memorial Day. 

Don't fret, because there will be a township parade, and the public is invited!

The parade will start at 11 a.m. on the corner of New Brunswick Road and Demott Lane and will end conclude at that municipal complex.

Veterans will be driven in antique cars, the girl and boy scouts, FHS Band, JROTC, emergency vehicles and more will be participating in the parade. 

Parade attendees should arrive and set up to get a good view on Demott Lane before 10:50 a.m. New Brunswick Road will be shut down around 10:50 a.m. and Demott Lane at 11 a.m.

There will also be a memorial service starting at noon at the municipal complex where there will be guest speakers, songs, a flag ceremony and other entertainment. 

At 12:30 a.m. a Coast Guard helicopter will fly overhead to salute all in attendance. Wreaths will be placed on memorials from various military organizations and there will also be a 21 bell salute.
