SOMERSET, NJ - All are welcome to honor the women and men -- from the American Revolution to present-day conflicts -- who have made the ultimate sacrifice for the nation by laying down their lives in military service to the country, the Township of Franklin will host its annual Memorial Day Parade and ceremony on Monday, May 27, beginning at 12 p.m.

The parade, which will assemble and begin at the corner of New Brunswick Road and Demott Lane and proceed to the Municipal building located at 475 DeMott Lane. 

An Abraham Lincoln impersonator will give a special reading and a helicopter is scheduled to fly overhead, according to organizer Bob LaCorte.
