SOMERSET, NJ - Pillar Missions and Pillar of Fire International will host the 5th annual Z Mud Run this Saturday at 9 a.m., at 591 Weston Canal Road in Somerset.

The course is almost complete and there is still limited time to register for this week's activities. Registration will close Thursday at noon, and there is a limited number of t-shirts and medals to go around for participants.

"The Z Mud Run is a family-friendly, insanely-muddy, totally fun event for all ages," run organizer, Margaret Collier said. "Right here in Somerset county, this 5K race through mud, stream, and obstacles will challenge everyone. Last year, over 1000 people came as a family, a team or an individual to climb over hay pyramids, scale walls, climb 20 feet mud hills, slide down a mud-water slide, and plow through mud that no sane person would attempt in any other place than this."
