OurBus is expanding its Kendall Park – to – New York commuter bus service to meet growing ridership. The service launched in Spring 2016, with stops along Route 27.
The commuter route now offers departures from the Kendall Park Roller Skating Park & Ride at 6:30 and 7:00 am. After a stop at the Kendall Park / Franklin Park Post Office, the buses run nonstop to Times Square, with additional stops along 42nd Street. Return trips leave Times Square at 5:30 pm and 6:15 pm.
Nonstop service between Franklin Park and Midtown Manhattan saves riders 10-20 minutes in each direction. The convenience is enhanced by curbside stops outside the Port Authority, and mobile ticketing means that riders never have to visit a booth to get tickets.
In addition to new departure times, the service now offers commuter runs from Rocky Hill and Montgomery. Buses pick outside of the Montgomery Shoprite, and near the Rocky Hill Tavern. Previously, these towns had no direct transportation to New York City.
OurBus is a transportation technology company that connects groups of commuters with luxury bus firms. As such, commuters are able to take advantage of amenities not usually seen on commuter buses, including Wifi, charging ports, and an on-board restroom.
Tickets are available online or on the OurBus App for $10 one-way or $18 round-trip. Refundable monthly passes are also available, for $300 per month. Passholders are able to cancel rides in advance, and receive a rebate for trips not used.
Commuters are encouraged to write to the company at email@example.com to receive a coupon code for a free ticket.
