FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, NJ – Police are investigating an early-morning shooting on Baier Street June 20 that wounded a Woodbridge man, according to Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson.

Responding to a 911 call at 1:55 a.m., Franklin Police found the victim in the driveway of a home where a party was being held. The wound was non-life-threatening. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Detectives from the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit responded along with detectives from the Franklin Township Police Department to conduct an investigation. Detectives conducting the investigation received limited information from individuals at the scene

Robertson asks that anyone with information relating to the shooting to contact the Somerset County Prosecutors Office Major Crimes Unit at (908) 231-7100 or the Franklin Township Police Department at (732) 873-5533 or via the STOPit app.
