FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, NJ - The Franklin Township Police Department closed its hit and run investigation involving the Senior Center on Demott Lane, according to a Facebook post. 

Joseph Driggers Jr., 40, of Somerset was the driver of the 2001 Chevy Impala that struck the Senior Center, police say. Driggers was charged with reckless driving, careless driving, leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident with property damage, and failing to report a motor vehicle accident with property damage, police say. 

Driggers is scheduled to appear in court, police say.
