SOMERSET, NJ - In honor of Veteran's Day, the Franklin Township Public Library in Somerset is proud to host Vietnam war veteran Carl Williams Burns’ presentation on Wednesday, November 8 from 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm.

Via slides and stories, Burns will share some of his experiences as an US Army officer and Huey pilot in the early days of America's involvement in Vietnam.   He was a helicopter pilot with the 25th Infantry Division 3/4 Cavalry, nicknamed the famed Centaurs. Burns flew combat and reconnaissance missions in Vietnam earning a Purple Heart, 16 Air Medals, and the rank of Captain.
