SOMERSET, NJ – The Somerset County Park Commission Colonial Park Gardens will offer an interactive “Peony Propagation Workshop” on Thursday, Oct. 5,  from 4:30 P.M. to 6:30 the Colonial Park Garden, 156 Mettlers Road in Somerset, New Jersey.

Led by Kathleen Gagan, National Peony Expert, and owner of Peony's Envy, the educational hands-on workshop will include an hour in which participants will learn how to dig, divide, plant, and grow herbaceous peonies from seed. The second portion of the workshop will cover how to graft and plant tree peonies.

Participants are asked to bring garden gloves and a grafting or small paring knife. All other materials will be provided.

Participants are asked to meet at the entrance of the Colonial Park Rose Garden Parking Lot A, Mettlers Road, Somerset New Jersey.
