SOMERSET, NJ - Police are seeking the public's help in an “investigation of an incident of gunshots.”
At approximately 10:19 pm Friday night the Franklin Township Police Department received multiple calls reporting hearing shots fired in the area of Maynard Road and Surrey Road, according to FTPD Police Director Quovella M. Spruill.
“Numerous patrol officers immediately responded to the scene," Spruill said in a press release. "Detectives from the Franklin Township Police Department and Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office also responded and are investigating the incident.”
Police say no injuries have been reported at this time.
