Many members of the community accepted the invitation and came out to meet team members face to face to congratulate the champions.

Some people brought basketballs, pictures, and posters to get autographed. There was even a chance to take pictures with the championship trophy.

After the meeting, the girls had an intimate dinner and celebration cake.

During the BOE meeting Head Coach, Audrey Taylor was invited up to the dais to address the board and members of the community.

"I appreciate these young ladies for their youth, enthusiasm, for their passion and also for just giving me the opportunity to lead them to this championship," Head Coach Audrey Taylor said to the BOE."I appreciate all the love and support everybody has given us it has been amazing I hope it continues, I hope we continue to grow from here.
