SOMERSET, NJ - The Township of Franklin will be conducting its first neighborhood meeting regarding a new Franklin Township Community Youth Center on Tuesday, July 25, 2017, at the Franklin Middle School Library from 7:00 p.m - 9:00 p.m.
The meeting will allow members of the community to come together and share ideas on the design, needs, and content of the new Youth Center. The Youth Center is planned to be built at the former Somerset Community Action Program (SCAP) site located at 429 Lewis Street in Somerset NJ.
For this project, Kimmel-Bogrette Architecture + Site was hired to spearhead the design.
They believe that through an understanding of their clients’ goals, they are able to create designs that further meet community goals. Franklin Township’s overall goal is to make sure everyone has an opportunity to voice their ideas making this a true community project.
“After many, many years of discussion, the dream of our own youth center is on the horizon. We encourage all members of our community to come out and give input so we can ensure this wonderful addition truly reflects our Township,” said Robert Vornlocker, Franklin Township Manager.
