Franklin Township: Two in Custody, Heavy Police Presence on Marcy Street (UPDATE)

FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, NJ - Two suspects are in custody in connection with an investigation into a robbery that occurred earlier today in Green Brook, according to an alert from the township. 

The alert also said residents may notice an increased presence of law enforcement in the area of Marcy Street in the Somerset section of Franklin Township.  

The public is urged to contact the Franklin Township Police Depart at 732-873-2300 if they observe any suspicious activity.

Somerset County Director of Communications Captain Jack Bennett (Ret.), when reached for comments, stated this is an ongoing investigation.
