SOMERSET, NJ - The public is invited to attend a vigil tonight at Masjid-e-Ali at 47 Cedar Grove lane scheduled for 6:30 pm. Mayor Phil Kramer and other local officials along with the Ambassador of Sri Lanka are expected to attend, according to organizers.

"It is with a heavy heart and sincere condolences for the victims of the horrendous massacre on Easter in Sri Lanka that killed 207 innocent people, mostly Christian worshipers, and injured about 450," President, Franklin Township Interfaith Council, Dr. Alex Kharazi said in a statement. "Franklin Township Interfaith Council strongly condemns this terrorist attack."

Police say suicide bombers detonated explosives in several locations across the country of Sri Lanka, including St. Sebastian's Church, six locations in Colombo and a church in Batticaloa on the island's eastern shore on Easter Sunday.
