FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, NJ - You know what they say, once a Warrior always a Warrior.

Next month, August 5, the Warrior For Life Scholarship Foundation (WFLSF) will host a community launch party, at Ovations restaurant in Bound Brook.

The purpose of the launch party is to bring awareness to the foundation's cause, raising scholarship funds and social support for the youth of Franklin Township.

Recently three Warriors decided to lend their time to help promote the WFLSF.

"We are happy that Len Rivers, and Richard Tyus both spoke out to show their support for our organization," WFLSF Trustee, Daryn Plummer said. "Both gentlemen epitomize what it means to be a Warrior For Life."

Rivers is a retired educator, and championship head football coach ('84 / '87), for Franklin, and Tyus, is a Franklin High School, hall of fame athlete and former coach.

Class of 1990, Cornelius Grim Whitaker calls on all Warriors to take the challenge and give back to their community.

The WFLSF has many ways people can show support all of which will be discussed in more detail during next month's community meeting.
