The Warrior for Life Scholarship Foundation is a non-profit organization, founded by a group of FHS alumni, with the purpose of generating scholarships for students in the Franklin Township community that exhibit excellence in the areas of academics, athletics, arts community service,  social consciousness, and/or philanthropy.

"We are completely humbled and excited that we reached our $5,000 goal within just two months,” WFLSF Trustee Rebekah Solomon said. “We are just as excited that Franklin Township community members and Alumni share our enthusiasm. We know that this is just the beginning.”

As of the publication of this article WSLSF has raised $5,570 for scholarships.

"This community shows us almost every day, why it is officially at the top of the list of the best places to live in the United States, and why we chose to stay where we have always called home to raise our children," Co-founder Daryn Plummer said.

During the event, individuals and organizations will learn more about the WFLSF, and how they can participate in one of the townships' newest initiative.

"We feel it’s important to have this event to say thank you and to allow everyone the opportunity to learn more about our vision and how they can partner with Warrior for Life Scholarship Foundation so that we can help as many students as possible," WFLSF Trustee Nick Solomon said.

The WFLSF will also discuss how they will participate and promote some of Franklin's upcoming community events such as Week of the PeopleFranklin Day, and a volunteer day at the Franklin Food Bank.

The next goal for the WFLSF is to sell out the upcoming Warrior For Life Scholarship Foundation Gala scheduled for November 24.
