Theft:  A Wyckoff Place resident reported that between 03/17/2017 and 03/24/2017, an unknown suspect stole a package containing Old Navy kids clothing ($304) from the resident’s porch.

Burglary/Theft:  A Halsey Street resident reported that during the afternoon hours, an unknown suspect burglarized an unlocked vehicle that was parked in a parking lot on Elizabeth Avenue.  The unknown suspect stole a Coach handbag ($300), $464 in US Currency, Identification Cards & Credit Cards.

Attempted Burglary/Criminal Mischief:  An Arden Street resident reported that during the overnight hours, an unknown suspect damaged a window screen and sill ($100) attempting to make entry into a residence.  Entry was not successful and nothing was stolen.

Burglary/Criminal Mischief:  A Belmar Street resident reported that during the overnight hours, an unknown suspect burglarized a residence by damaging a kitchen window ($300) and looked through items in the home.  Nothing was taken.

Burglary/Theft:  A Whittier Avenue resident reported that during the overnight hours, an unknown suspect burglarized an unlocked vehicle and stole a black wallet ($5) containing a debit card and identification card. 

Burglary/Theft:  A Phillips Court resident reported that during that during the early morning and afternoon hours, an unknown suspect burglarized an unlocked vehicle and stole a backpack containing an Apple iPad Mini ($500), Apple iPad Pro ($700) and textbooks/merchandise ($300).

Arrest:  Khayree A. Walker, 38, of East Windsor, NJ was arrested subsequent to a motor vehicle stop for $30,168 in outstanding warrants out of multiple jurisdictions.  Walker was lodged at the Somerset County Jail in lieu of bail.  “Note:We are required by the Rules of Court to include herein a statement explaining that the charges are merely an accusation and that the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.”

Arrest:  Lorenzo A. Hill-Staten, 27, of New Brunswick, NJ was arrested on $314 in an outstanding warrant out of Franklin Township, NJ.  Hill-Staten was lodged at the Somerset County Jail in lieu of bail.  “Note: We are required by the Rules of Court to include herein a statement explaining that the charges are merely an accusation and that the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.”

Burglary/Theft:  A Decaire Lane resident reported that during the evening hours, an unknown suspect burglarized a residence and stole multiple pieces of jewelry ($2500). 

Criminal Mischief:  A property manager reported that during the afternoon hours, an unknown suspect damaged a surveillance camera ($100) on Ari Drive.

Arrest:  Hector L. Minaya, 49 of North Bergen, NJ was arrested subsequent to a motor vehicle stop for a $99 outstanding warrant out of Palisades Park, NJ.  Minaya was released on bail.  “Note: We are required by the Rules of Court to include herein a statement explaining that the charges are merely an accusation and that the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.”

Criminal Mischief:  A Newark, NJ resident reported that during the afternoon hours, an unknown suspect threw an unknown object at a passing vehicle causing the side window ($190) to break.
