Stolen Vehicle: A Clover Hills Drive resident reported that during the overnight hours, an unknown suspect stole a locked 2011 Jaguar XF from the driveway of the residence.
Shoplifting: A Business on Route 27 reported that sometime in the evening hours, two unknown suspects shoplifted $49 in diapers and meat and fled.
Criminal Mischief: A Coventry Lane resident reported that during the overnight hours, an unknown suspect broke the driver’s side window ($150) of a 2016 Nissan Versa.
Criminal Mischief: A Rue Chagall resident reported that during the overnight hours, an unknown suspect threw a rock at the front door/window of the residence, causing the window ($200) to crack.
Burglary/Theft: An Appleman Road resident reported that during the afternoon hours, the resident left the trunk from a 2016 Chevrolet Tahoe open and unattended. During that time, an unknown suspect stole an Oakley Backpack ($250) containing an Apple iPad Air 2 ($400), Apple iPad Pro 12.9” ($900), Bose Headphones ($350), Cannon EOS7D Camera w/Accessories ($3600), First Aid Kit ($50), Oakley Sunglasses ($300), Oakley Jacket ($200), Under Armour Jacket ($150) and Medications ($629).
Criminal Mischief: A Barker Road resident reported that in the early morning hours, an unknown suspect threw a brick at the rear driver’s side door of a 2008 Suzuki Forenza, causing dents to the door.
Burglary/Theft/Criminal Mischief: An East Brunswick, NJ resident reported that while their vehicle was parked on Hamilton Street, an unknown suspect broke the passenger side window of a 2014 Toyota FR-S and stole $2 in loose change from the center console.
Burglary/Theft: A Hamilton Street home was burglarized through a garage door by an unknown suspect between 03/31/2017 and 04/02/2017 and stole the copper pipe throughout the house.
Arrest: Michael A. Nickerson, 48, of New Brunswick, NJ was taken into custody at the New Brunswick Police Department and arrested on a $500 outstanding warrant out of Franklin Township, NJ. Nickerson was lodged at the Somerset County Jail in lieu of bail. “NOTE: We are required by the Rules of Court to include herein a statement explaining that the charges are merely an accusation and that the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.”
Burglary/Theft: A Business on Easton Avenue reported that an unknown suspect gained entry to a business through the roof and stole Banquet Chairs ($1575) and Banquet Tables ($350).
