During the overnight hours an unknown actor entered a victim’s home on Carriage Trail and took her purse that contained $11.
During the early morning hours an unknown actor was seen checking the doors of vehicles in the area of Whittier Avenue. No items were taken as all of the car doors were locked
At 12:10 PM an unknown male took $42 worth of hair products from the Walgreens located on Hamilton Street
Just before 2:00 PM police and firefighters responded to a mulch fire on Laurel Avenue. The fire was quickly extinguished and there was no damage to the structure.
In the early morning hours an unknown female “keyed” a car on Davidson Avenue causing approximately $750 worth of damage.
During the overnight hours an unknown actor broke the door of a home on Valley Wood Drive. It doesn’t appear that entry was made or anything was taken.
Sometime between 11/11/2017 and 11/13/2017 a 2007 Ford F-250 was taken from a business on Somerset Street. At 6:10 PM that vehicle was recovered in Newark, NJ by the Newark Police Department.
Jairam Harricharan, 53, of Somerset was arrested on outstanding warrant that was issued by the Franklin Township Municipal Court. He was lodged in the Somerset County Jail pending a bail hearing. Brian Leighton, 29, of Somerset was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct after causing a disturbance at a business on Easton Avenue. He was transported to headquarters, processed and released on a summons.
