Stolen Vehicle:  An Auburn, NJ resident reported that during the overnight hours, an unknown suspect stole his rental car (2017 Ford Expedition) from a parking lot on Atrium Drive.

Theft:  A Franklin Boulevard resident reported that during the afternoon hours, an unknown suspect stole four (4) packages containing miscellaneous clothing ($700) from the resident’s doorstep.

Shoplifting:  Allyson L. Barnacz, 37, of Franklin Park, NJ was arrested during the afternoon hours for shoplifting $577 in groceries from a Business on Route 27.  Barnacz was released from custody.  “NOTE: We are required by the Rules of Court to include herein a statement explaining that the charges are merely an accusation and that the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.”


03/02/2017

Burglary/Theft:  A Reler Lane resident reported that sometime during the overnight hours, an unknown suspect burglarized a vehicle by smashing the driver’s side window of a 2005 Jeep Liberty and stole a wallet containing miscellaneous cards and $185 in US Currency.

Burglary/Theft:  A Holland Drive resident reported that during the overnight hours, an unknown suspect burglarized an unlocked 2001 Ford Explorer and stole a black backpack ($30) and a Garmin GPS ($100).

Criminal Mischief:  A Ralph Street resident reported that during the overnight hours, an unknown suspect smashed the rear window ($150) of a 2010 Chevy Express.  Nothing was stolen.

Burglary/Theft:  A Hunt Road resident reported that during the overnight hours, an unknown suspect burglarized an unlocked 1998 Ford Explorer and stole a Purse ($100) containing an Identification Card, Stethoscope (49) and $180 in US Currency.

Arrest:  Jose L. Colon, 49, of Piscataway, NJ was arrested on $650 in an outstanding warrant from New Brunswick, NJ.  Colon was transferred over to the New Brunswick Police Department in lieu of bail.

Arrest:  Alberto Mendez, 40, of North Brunswick, NJ was arrested on two outstanding warrants; Milltown, NJ ($750) and South River, NJ ($506).  Mendez was released on his own recognizance.  “NOTE: We are required by the Rules of Court to include herein a statement explaining that the charges are merely an accusation and that the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.”

Burglary/Criminal Mischief/Theft:  A Holland Drive resident reported that sometime between 02/26/2017 and 03/03/2017, an unknown suspect burglarized a 2016 Toyota IA by smashing the passenger side window ($250) and stole the vehicle’s registration and insurance card.

Burglary/Theft:  A Marigold Lane resident reported that sometime during the overnight hours of 02/28/2017 into 03/01/2017, an unknown suspect burglarized an unlocked 2012 Honda Accord and stole a Tote Bag ($10), Driver’s License and $100 in US Currency.

Arrest:  Eddie L. Maxwell, 28, of Trenton, NJ was arrested on $250 in outstanding warrants out of Elizabeth, NJ.  Maxwell was released on his own recognizance.  “NOTE: We are required by the Rules of Court to include herein a statement explaining that the charges are merely an accusation and that the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.”

Shoplifting:  A Business on Easton Avenue reported that during the afternoon hours, two unknown suspects attempted to shoplift a cart of groceries ($192.47), but fled the scene without proceeds when confronted.

03/06/2017

Fire:  A Douglas Avenue resident reported that during the early morning hours, a vehicle caught fire in the driveway and caused damage to a home.

Criminal Mischief:  A Hamilton Street resident reported that sometime between 03/03/2017 and 03/06/2017, an unknown suspect shattered the passenger side window ($150) of a 2005 Dodge Caravan
