FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, NJ - The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning that will be in effect from Feb. 9, 12:00 a.m. until Feb. 9, 4:00 p.m.

Snow accumulation of six to ten inches is expected to fall and visibility will be one-quarter mile or less, according to the National Weather Service.

Heavy snowfall can make many roads potentially impassable during the worst part of the storm which should be from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. The National Weather Service says “there may be widespread power outages due to the weight of the snow on tree limbs and power lines.”
