SOMERSET, NJ - Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Pastor, Andrew Dinger, a South East Texas native will be collecting cash donations to benefit 30 families that have been displaced due to flooding caused by Hurricane Harvey.

"Holy Trinity will be gathering a collection for the next month to send funds directly to those affected," Dinger said. "In a time when many people will prey on the good will of many and we aren't always sure that the funds we send are used properly - 100% of the funds collected will go directly to those in this immediate need of help."

Dinger's father is the pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church in Port Author Texas, and the families Dinger is looking to help belong to that congregation.

Donators to the Harvey Relief fund drive will receive updates on the families helped, according to Dinger.
