SOMERVILLE, NJ - The Somerset County Department of Health on Friday reported a total of 4,586 cases of the COVID-19 coronavirus, an increase of 9 cases overnight, with 477 deaths occurring since the pandemic began in March.

Franklin has a total of 1,381 COVID-19 cases an increase of six overnight, and 137 deaths since the pandemic hit New Jersey in March.

Free COVID-19 and antibody testing will be available to the public next week. No one will be turned away, a prescription or insurance is not necessary for testing. A photo ID is requested. Individuals under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. TAP here to schedule an appointment.

The SCDOH has confirmed the deaths of 137 Franklin Township residents; 71 in Hillsborough; 67 in Bridgewater; 42 in Bernards Township; 36 in North Plainfield; 32 in Green Brook; 15 in Watchung; 14 in Warren; 14 in Bound Brook; 13 in Raritan; 8 in Manville; 7 in Somerville; 6 in Montgomery; 5 in Bedminster; 3 in Branchburg; 3 in South Bound Brook; 2 in Bernardsville and one in Peapack-Gladstone.

No COVID-19 deaths have been reported in Far Hills, Millstone or Rocky Hill.

Here is the latest breakdown of confirmed cases by town: Bedminster, 46, Bernardsville Borough, 73; Bernards Township, 284; Branchburg, 95, Bridgewater, 496; Bound Brook, 334; Far Hills, 3; Franklin, 1,381; Green Brook, 145; Hillsborough, 449; Manville, 159; Millstone, 3; Montgomery, 125; North Plainfield, 343; Peapack-Gladstone, 42; Raritan, 123; Rocky Hill, 5; Somerville, 148; South Bound Brook, 85; Warren, 149; Watchung, 98.

The New Jersey Department of Health Friday reported a total of 178,345 positive cases of the coronavirus since the pandemic began its spread in the state 144 days ago, and a total of 13,845 deaths during that time, an increase of 35 overnight. There have been 1,887,644 COVID-19 tests administered statewide.

The number of COVID-19 cases worldwide is now 15,897,482 with 641,045 having died as a result of exposure to the coronavirus, according to the Centers for Disease Control; & Prevention on Friday morning.

The CDC this morning reported 14,277 COVID-19 deaths in the United States, with a total of 4,236,906 cases.
