FRANKLIN PARK, NJ - Locally-owned restaurateurs, Ariene and Arman Wilson, are pleased to announce the opening of Down Home Cookin & Catering, the only soul food restaurant in town. They are conveniently located in Dabs Plaza, 3029 Highway 27, Suite #3, Franklin Park, NJ 08823.

The owners of Down Home Cookin & Catering, both raised in the area, grew up eating at the same place they now run in Franklin Park, NJ. They have taken a giant step in opening Down Home Cookin & Catering after successfully catering many events from which they received rave reviews from their customers. For your catering needs, large or small, elegant or casual, they guarantee to make your dining experience unforgettable, and at a competitive price.

Down Home Cookin & Catering specializes in authentic soul food. On the menu is their ‘famous’ macaroni and cheese and mouth-watering fried whiting. They also specialize in fried and baked chicken, cajun shrimp, catfish nuggets and cornbread. All the dishes are homemade from recipes that have been created by the owners.

UNION, NJ – A Baltimore man ended up taking his own life in the Hillside Police Department after he was arrested for a suspected attempted carjacking in Union Friday afternoon.

Bridgewater Police: Avoid Mall for Ongoing Police Investigation

UPDATE: According to a Nixle alert from the Bridgewater Township Police Department at 9 p.m., the investigation at the mall has been completed, and the mall will be resuming normal business operations.
