NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - Police are investigating the death of a man who was shot while driving his vehicle on Monday afternoon.

Police did not release the name of the man who they found dead in the area of Handy Street and Robeson Boulevard at about 4:35 p.m., according to a press release from Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Director Anthony A. Caputo of the New Brunswick Police Department.

He was transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
