(Trenton, NJ) – Opportunity NJ, the grassroots coalition formed to provide an independent voice on behalf of New Jersey businesses and to advocate an agenda of affordability, is pleased to announce the organization recently was recognized for excellence with an honorable mention in the 2017 Hermes Creative Awards competition. Of the thousands of creative entries worldwide that were submitted, Opportunity NJ’s custom built website designed to communicate and engage directly with the state-wide business audience received the acclaimed acknowledgement.
“It is both wonderful and validating to see the hard work, innovation, and creative efforts of our organization be recognized at the highest levels,” commented Opportunity NJ co-chair Michele Siekerka.
The Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing, and design of traditional materials and programs and emerging technologies. Entries come from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, graphic design shops, production companies, web and digital creators, and freelancers.
“Heavy investments in development and creative sweat equity has allowed us to communicate our message of affordability to a wide-range of residents and businesses across New Jersey,” explained Opportunity NJ’s other co-chair Tom Bracken. “Our innovative webpage provides the platform for interactive case studies, a nerve center for our grassroots mobilization and the frontline of our fundraising efforts.”
Entries are reviewed and judged by the executive board of the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals – an international organization consisting of several thousand marketing, communication, advertising, public relations, media production, web and freelance professionals.
