Portable Classroom Falls Off Truck On Route 1

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ – Evening motorists had to do a double take Wednesday when a portable classroom trailer became disconnected from the truck transporting it, police said.

The 65-foot modular classroom was en route to Princeton High School when it disconnected from the truck transporting it at around 6: 30 p.m. on Route 1 and Raymond Road.

Route 1 northbound was impassible until the classroom was towed from the scene by 7:45 p.m., police said.
