Get ready for “RU Brewfest,” a beer festival for fans prior to the Indiana game, highlighting a full list of promotional themes at High Point Solutions Stadium. The 2018 home opener also marks the return of “War Before the Shore,” a game that honors a long-standing New Jersey tradition to head to the shore for the final weekend of the summer.

Rutgers will announce Scarlet Memories, a mobile-based program that allows fans to customize their game day experience via the Rutgers Gameday App. All fans can participate in these exclusive offers, which include game day stadium tours, fourth quarter sideline passes, behind-the-scenes access, mascot seat visits and more. The program will launch on Aug. 15 at 10 a.m. for all seven homes games and Scarlet Memories are available for purchase with a valid debit/credit card. All season ticket holders will receive free credits in their account based on priority points.

The Scarlet Knights open the season with a pair of home non-conference matchups against Texas State on Sept. 1 and Buffalo on Sept. 22. RU enters conference play with back-to-back home games against Big Ten opponents Indiana on Sept. 29 and Illinois on Oct. 6. The game against the Fighting Illini will serve as the Blackout game, with the Scarlet Knights donning their all-black uniforms.

Rutgers will host Northwestern on Oct. 20 for Homecoming, before closing out the home slate against Michigan on Nov. 10 and Penn State on Nov. 17. Entering the third season under the direction of head coach Chris Ash, the Scarlet Knights return 16 of 22 starters from a 2017 team that doubled its win total from the previous year and matched a program-best conference win total.

Fans interested in purchasing single game tickets can visit www.RutgersGameday.com, a new website dedicated to all things game day or call 866-445-GORU.

Rutgers consolidated its single game ticket prices to three affordable options per game that vary based on seat location. Discounted season ticket holder add-ons (limit eight per game) are available until July 12 when single game tickets go sale to the general public.
