BRANCHBURG, NJ - The Community Education Department at Raritan Valley Community College will offer a variety of adult personal enrichment classes this spring.
The following programs will be offered at the College’s Branchburg campus:
Gone Fishin’ in New Jersey: Students are taught the best methods to catch fish in the Garden State’s great fresh and saltwater bodies. The class will be held Tuesdays, May 2 and 9, from 7-8:30 p.m. The fee is $25.
Introduction to Social Media: Students become familiar with online social media and learn how to stay connected with family and friends via Facebook, Twitter and blogging. Participants also learn how to share their favorite ideas, pictures and video by using Instagram, Pinterest and YouTube. The class will be held Saturdays, May 6-20, from 1-3 p.m. The fee is $80.
Effective Writing: This refresher course will benefit those who are returning to the workforce or are seeking to become better writers. Good sentence structure, paragraph structuring and basic essay writing are covered. The class will be held Saturdays, May 6-20, from 10 a.m.-noon. The fee is $80.
How to Write, Self-Publish & Sell Your Own Book: The class on writing and publishing will include a discussion on how to get published by a university press. The class will be held Tuesdays, May 2 and 9, from 7-8:30 p.m. The fee is $25.
