NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — A man from the Somerset section of Franklin is facing charges after he drove into a utility pole this weekend, according to city police.
Neco Williams, 25, was driving along Route 18 south, near Route 1, around 6:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, when the incident occurred, New Brunswick Police Capt. J.T. Miller told TAPinto New Brunswick.
The driver allegedly “lost control” of his Toyota Corolla at that time, Miller said. Williams then struck a utility pole, police said.
No one reported any injuries as a result of the crash, according to city police.
But Williams received summonses for careless driving and not having insurance for his vehicle, Miller said.
