SOMERVILLE, NJ - The II annual Girls' Night Out delivered on all that was promised Thursday night - shopping, dining, mini-makeovers, creative hair tips, complementary cupcakes, hand-crafted jewelry shows, honey tastings, cosultations, demonstrations, workshops, discounts and entertainment.

Several hundred women, young and old, gathered for a night on the town, stopping to pick up their "swag bag" at the sign-in center on Division Street before setting off up and down Main Street to check out all that downtown Somerville has to offer.

The Downtown Somerville Alliance provided an incentive to shop, with each purchase qualifying the buyer for a chance to win a Weekend of Wow valued at over $1000, an experience that includes a dress from haute-couture designer Jean-Ralph Thurin, styling and makeup by the artists at The Beauty Bar, 6 weeks of personalized fitness preparation from Tatyana’s Fitness, flowers from Gems & Stems, a gourmet dinner at Boulevard Seafood, the dessert of your dreams from Blue Sheep Bake Shop, and a photoshoot at Hellion Photography.
