Milltown Ice Cream Depot will host Assembly LD17 (Franklin, Milltown, New Brunswick, North Brunswick, and Piscataway) Republican Candidate Robert A. Quinn for a meet and greet. All kids under 12 get free ice cream.

Township of Franklin 

The Franklin Township Task Force on the proposed Compressor Station and Pipeline Expansion monthly meeting. Every 4th Thursday of the month learn how you can help protect the health and safety of our community.

Meeting located in the Council Chambers at 7 p.m.

Franklin Township: Grades 4 Life Back to School 5k Walk/Bike-A-Thon

Grades4life will host its first annual installment of the Back To School 5K Walk/ Bike-A-Thon at Naaman Williams Park Aug. 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Police Issue Alert for Missing New Brunswick Girl

NEW BRUNSWICK - Police today issued a plea for the public’s help in finding a missing 13-year-old girl.

Payton Tomesell, was last seen on Wednesday at 18 Abeel St., authorities said.

The girl suffers from anxiety and depression, and is taking medication, police said.

Tomesell is described as 5-feet, 9-inches tall, weighing about 120 pounds. She was wearing a white tee-shirt, ...

Bridgewater Police: Avoid Mall for Ongoing Police Investigation

UPDATE: According to a Nixle alert from the Bridgewater Township Police Department at 9 p.m., the investigation at the mall has been completed, and the mall will be resuming normal business operations.

Police emphasized that there is no immediate threat to the public and no injuries were reported.
