Monday, July 10

Franklin Township Public Library

Computer Class: Organizing Files - 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. 

Have you been saving documents and information to your computer only to discover that you cannot locate them when you need them?  Do you fear you will run out of space?  Learn how to create folders on the computer to organize information, and how to copy, move, and delete files as needed.

Learn to Play Chess for Kids - 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. 

Beginners can learn basic strategy, play some chess, and review their games with our volunteer chess tutors. Class runs for two weeks.

Breakfast Networking Event 

Start your day on a positive step at Punta Cana Grill.  Enjoy your breakfast while networking with other business innovators. Work Session/Regular Meeting

The Township Council meets at 7:00 p.m. on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month at the Municipal Building, 475 DeMott Lane. These meetings are open to the public and public input on any subject is accepted. 

Franklin High School

The public is invited to meet and greet Franklin High School's new head football coach, John Paczkowski, 7 p.m. Tuesday at the East Franklin Firehouse on 121 Pine Grove Avenue.

2017 Atlantic League All-Star Game

The Atlantic League of Professional Baseball has announced that the 2017 Atlantic League All-Star Game presented by RWJBarnabas Health and Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield Of New Jersey will be hosted by the Somerset Patriots at TD Bank Ballpark.

Franklin Township: The Palace Hosts SCBP Networking Event July 13

The Somerset County Business Partnership will visit another of Somerset County’s seminal locations when they host Somerset County’s most well attended and effective networking opportunity, “Networking Night at the Palace” on Thursday, July 13 from 5-6:30 p.m. at the Palace at Somerset Park.

Bridgewater Police: Avoid Mall for Ongoing Police Investigation

UPDATE: According to a Nixle alert from the Bridgewater Township Police Department at 9 p.m., the investigation at the mall has been completed, and the mall will be resuming normal business operations.

Police emphasized that there is no immediate threat to the public and no injuries were reported.
