Disney’s The Jungle Book, Kids

Adapted from Disney’s beloved animated film and the works of Rudyard Kipling, the “man cub” Mowgli, bounds through the jungle and learns what it means to be human. TAP here for more details.

One of its baristas will teach this completely hands-on class where you will get to learn latte art theory and technique.

Herstories by Cool Women Poets from 12 to 1 p.m.

Where: New Brunswick Free Public Library 

This program is free and open to the public.

Known for their themed, improv-style poetry readings, Cool Women riff on each other's poems like jazz musicians, providing an unpredictable and compelling performance. All nine members – Eloise Bruce, Juditha Dowd, Lois Marie Harrod, Betty Lies, Judy Michaels, Sharon Olson, Penelope Scambly Schott, Maxine Susman, and Gretna Wilkinson – have deep New Jersey roots. Since their debut in Princeton on Valentine’s Day 2000, they have given dozens of readings in the tri-state area and as far away as Portland, Oregon.
