The Franklin Township Public Library
Encourage language development in your little ones! Parents or grandparents are invited to share some nursery rhyme fun with their children ages 0 - 4 years.
This program is designed to help increase your child's attention span by alternating active rhymes, chants, and quiet activities.
Plan to arrive early enough to check in at the Children's Desk before the program starts. By doing this, you will give your child will get the most benefit from this program.
Franklin Township Open Space Program (Rescheduled from last week)
Would you like to take a nature walk and see unique species of plants and animals right here in town?
Then the township's open space program has what you are looking for. For the 13th consecutive year, it will be providing the community with free guided nature walks on the township's open space parcels.

Franklin High School Girl’s Softball Team
FHS Girls Softball team has a double header 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. at the high school.
The team is holding a charity fundraiser for the Lymphoma Society at these regularly scheduled games.
The proceeds from t-shirts and concessions, as well as donations will go to the Lymphoma Society in Ava Danielsen's honor. She is a Junior at FHS who plays for the team.
She was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma in August 2016. Come on out to support the girls and the cause!!

First Annual Community Health Fair at Masjid-e-Ali
Location: 47 Cedar Grove Ln. Somerset, NJ 08873
APPNA-NJ Health Clinic will be collaborating with Masjid-e-Ali for their first community health fair. Screening includes blood pressure, pulse, blood sugar, and body mass index
Physicians will be present to answer general health questions and to provide counseling. Lectures on weight management, pediatric prevention, and when to get help with anxiety, depression, bereavement and more will also be offered. Wyckoff-Garretson Museum House Open Free to the Public
The Meadows Foundation announces the opening of the Wyckoff-Garretson Museum House and Carriage Barn, every second Sunday of the month starting in April and going through October. There will be docents on hand to conduct tours and answer questions about colonial life. The recently renovated carriage barn features a used book and gift shop.
In addition, talks and craft demonstrations will be conducted in the conference room, and videos about life in colonial times will be shown in the media room. The buildings will be open from 1pm-4pm, April through October. This is a FREE EVENT, so bring family and friends and enjoy an interesting afternoon with us!
