On Thursday, Aug.31, Central Jersey College Prep Charter School (CJCP) hosted orientations for upper school level in an effort to keep students and parents informed and to ensure a smooth transitioning to the next school year. In the orientations, the school administration and support staff presented changes and updates in school practices and addressed inquiries from students and parents.

Included in the activities were also uniform sales, distribution of the student schedules, and administration of the placement test that is used to determine the placement of students in appropriate classes. Presentations from the school administration covered select topics such as curriculum and instruction, homework policy, attendance policy, student code of conduct, and the student information system. Following the presentations, students and parents had an opportunity to meet with their teachers.

CJCP will host another orientation on Friday, Sep.8th for elementary students and parents. CJCP community is looking forward to another successful school year ahead in its new home.
