MANVILLE, NJ - During the course of the last year, Valairco Heating & Cooling has made a $500 donation each quarter to a charity or nonprofit from nominations by their customers, friends and the general public.

The most recent winner is Leah’s Lemonade, who is a 9-year-old young lady who has been raising money for the Berkeley Heights Volunteer Rescue Squad -- having donated approximately $1,200.00 during 2018 as a result of her efforts. In addition, Valairco has made donations to Relay for Life, St. Josephs Service Center, Moms Helping Moms and The Berkeley Heights Education Foundation.

"The amazing thing to us is the number of organizations and individuals that are dedicating their time free of charge to helping make the world we live in a better place," said Valairco founder Richard Valenti.

This originally was going to be a one-year project. "As a result of our experience Kevin McHugh, Owner and myself have elected to continue the Valairco Cares program of donating $500 every 3 months," said Valenti.

"Special thanks to all the people who have made nominations as well as to the charities and nonprofits that are doing such good work," said Valenti. If your charity or nonprofit has not received a donation, nominate them in the future.
