Food Truck Fest at Duke Island park

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - The Somerset County Park Commission Free Summer Concert Series at Duke Island Park on Old York Road in Bridgewater will continue the 2019 season on Sunday, August 11, 2019, with the soul sounds of Andy B.And and the best of the hits from the 50’s to the 90’s performed by The Fabulous Grease Band. The concert is scheduled from 5:30 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. with the food trucks open throughout the performances. Gates will open at 5:00 P.M.
 
The 5th Annual Rock ‘n Roll Food Truck Fest will feature 11 food trucks, each presenting a different set of menu items. Among the culinary creations will be Cubano Xpress, Kats Catering, Gail’s Dog House, Pizza Vita, Cas' Pierogi's and Kielbasa, Amanda’s Bananas, Cheezin’, Aunt Dee Dee’s Old Fashioned Baked Goodness, Jimmy’s Concession, Taxi Cab Burger, and Josefa Ice Cream LLC.
 
Andy B. a.k.a. Andy Bernstein, has been the primary singer-songwriter for The VooDUDES since 1990. After 25 years, he has also gone solo with an album entitled My Roots are Showing with tunes inspired by Americana and soul music.He has been performing with the group Soul Funk at a variety of festivals.
 
The Fabulous Greaseband is a seven-member band that plays that best of the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s – an all-around rock and roll party band.  This highly entertaining and energetic group plays the greatest dance songs ever written.
 
The concerts are free. Sponsorship is provided by Magic 98.3 WMGQ Radio.
 
Concertgoers are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets for a beautiful evening of entertainment under the summer skies. Ample parking is available.
 
The concert series will conclude on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at 6:00 P.M. with the re-scheduled appearance of New Power Soul.
