Motor City Revue - Free Concert at Duke Island Park

The Somerset County Park Commission summer of Sunday evening free live concert performances continues at the Duke Island Park band shell on Old York Road in Bridgewater on Sunday evening, July 14, 2019.
 
The summer series of concerts are free and lovers of all types of music are invited to bring lawn chairs and picnic baskets to enjoy relaxed Sunday evenings highlighted by live entertainment.

On Sunday, July 14 from 7:00 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. the Park Commission will feature the Motown sounds of Motor City Revue.
 
Motor City Revue offers music lovers an authentic tribute to the artists and songs that defined a generation when the Motown sound began in Detroit more than a half century ago.  Motor City Revue faithfully recreates that signature Motown sound and takes audiences on a journey back in time to where it all began.   
 
The Motor City Revue is an 11-piece band covering popular and rare Motown and Stax hits, plus rock and soul classics immortalized by Smokey Robinson & The Miracles, Marvin Gaye, The Temptations, The Supremes, and countless others. The concert is free.
 
Sponsorship is provided by Somerset County Cultural & Heritage Commission, a partner of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts.

Investigation of Fatal Accident Involving East Brunswick Fire Department Vehicle Continues

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ --A South River couple was killed on Sunday night, August 11 in a collision with an East Brunswick fire chief on Old Bridge Turnpike.
