Somerset County 4-H Holding Annual Science-sational Day

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - The Somerset County 4-H is holding its annual 4-H Science-sational Day April 14 from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Ted Blum 4-H Center, on Milltown Road.

The event will be held for kids in grades first through fifth, and is open to 4-H members and non-members.

The cost is $25 per child, and parents are free. Registration is required by March 23, and can be done online at www.4histops.org.

Science-sational Day is a day of fun and educational workshops, and has been held since 1991. This year, the 12 workshops will address a variety of interests, including Science You Can Eat, to focus on using science with cooking; Try It - Fly It, to make a glider and learn how to fly it on a simulated runway; pH Mysteries, which will explore acids and bases; and The Science of Yoga, which teaches the science and physiology behind asana yoga.
