Gas Prices in New Jersey Drop Slightly Heading into Holiday Weekend

NEW JERSEY — The price of gas in New Jersey is heading down as the Fourth of July weekend gets closer.

The average price of a gallon of unleaded is $4.85, according to AAA. That's down 2 cents from yesterday and 9 cents from last week. Drivers are paying $1.71 more than this time last year.
