"I am both a certified public accountant and certified financial planner," Beckwith said. "I am able to service all of my client's financial needs and concerns. For example, if someone were getting a financial plan prepared, they would tell the client to discuss the tax planning section with their CPA.  The approach is not seamless since a lot can be lost in the transmission.  With the expertise of both disciplines, it enables me to improve planning process from the onset due to the full visibility and expertise to act on the information."

Beckwith is also an active member of the community and believes it is her responsibility to give back. She participates in various walk-a-thons in which she has raised thousands of dollars to support breast cancer research. Beckwith also serves as the community service chairperson at her daughter’s school where she has helped to raise thousands of dollars to organizations in need.

Last year, Beckwith started a partnership with Somerset Community Action Program (SCAP) by providing a series of free financial planning workshops focusing on budgeting, debt reduction, asset accumulation, and consumer protection. The program has been extended and will run monthly workshops for the rest of the year, at SCAP's new headquarters.

What is unique about your business?

I am a serial entrepreneur so I provide guidance on starting and growing a business not just from theory but practice. I am a fiduciary, which means I put my client's needs above my own in all circumstances.  Therefore, I would never suggest an investment or financial initiative that is not beneficial for my client. I believe in providing straightforward solutions for all areas of my client's financial lives.

What is most important for people to know about your business?

People should know that I truly care about my clients, I value privacy, and I am compassionate.  Since my approach is non-judgemental, I am able to have open discussions with my clients which lead to real and lasting changes.  I want to see my clients live their best life and show them the possibilities they probably never thought existed. I am always learning and I stay updated with the latest laws and best practices within the tax, accounting, and financial services industries.  I attend, at minimum 70 hours of training annually via conferences, seminars, and webinars. Since I operate a small business I am able to provide a more personalized touch and tailor my approach to suit my client's needs.
